What does research grade mean on a peptide listing?
Research grade is a description, not a universal certificate. The useful question is what the seller can document about the exact compound, mass, lot and test rather than what the label promises.
The phrase is not the evidence
Research grade does not automatically identify a manufacturer, a laboratory method or a regulatory status. Two sellers can use the same phrase while giving you very different amounts of information.
Treat the phrase as the start of a check. The listing should still identify the compound, the stated mass, the format, the lot or batch and the terms under which the material is supplied. If those fields are missing, the adjective is doing too much of the work.
