Reconstitution calculator · GHRP-6
GHRP-6 reconstitution calculator.
Work out the concentration of a reconstituted GHRP-6 vial. Presets match the 10 mg format we stock, and the reference table below is calculated for those exact vials. Research use only.
This tool reports concentration only. It is not dosing guidance, and nothing here is for human use.
GHRP-6 concentration reference table
Every combination of the GHRP-6 vial sizes we stock and the bacteriostatic water volumes people most often add.
| Vial | BAC water | Concentration | Per 100 µL aliquot |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 mg | 1 ml | 10 mg/ml | 1 mg (1,000 mcg) |
| 10 mg | 2 ml | 5 mg/ml | 0.5 mg (500 mcg) |
| 10 mg | 3 ml | 3.333 mg/ml | 0.333 mg (333 mcg) |
| 10 mg | 5 ml | 2 mg/ml | 0.2 mg (200 mcg) |
How the calculation works
Concentration is the mass of peptide divided by the volume of solvent. A vial holding 5 mg reconstituted with 2 ml of bacteriostatic water gives 2.5 mg/ml, so a 100 µL aliquot contains 0.25 mg. The powder itself adds no meaningful volume at these masses, which is why the water volume alone sets the concentration.
Handling in the Vietnamese climate
Sealed lyophilized vials are stable at room temperature in transit, which is why the material ships dry rather than cold. Once reconstituted, the solution is kept refrigerated and shielded from light. Bacteriostatic water is the usual solvent because the benzyl alcohol in it lets a vial be entered more than once.
What is GHRP-6?
A synthetic growth-hormone-releasing hexapeptide used in ghrelin-receptor research.
GHRP-6 is a synthetic hexapeptide commonly studied as an agonist at the ghrelin receptor (GHSR). Receptor-binding and structural studies use it as a defined experimental ligand when examining how ghrelin-receptor signalling is activated.
The 10 mg listed format is a lyophilized research material. This calculator addresses only concentration arithmetic after a solvent volume is entered; it does not turn receptor literature into dosing, treatment or performance claims.

Common questions
What receptor is GHRP-6 studied against?
GHRP-6 is widely used in experimental work as an agonist ligand for the ghrelin receptor, also called GHSR.
Does receptor research set a GHRP-6 protocol?
No. Receptor and structural studies describe experimental systems; this calculator supplies concentration math only and does not provide a protocol or human-use guidance.
How much bacteriostatic water do I add to a GHRP-6 vial?
There is no single correct volume. The water volume sets the concentration: more water gives a weaker solution and a larger aliquot for the same mass. Common choices are 1 to 5 ml. Enter your vial size above to see what each volume produces for 10 mg.
What concentration does a GHRP-6 vial give?
It depends entirely on the solvent volume. The reference table above lists every combination of the 10 mg vial format and 1, 2, 3 and 5 ml of bacteriostatic water.
Does the powder change the final volume?
Not measurably at these masses. A few milligrams of lyophilized peptide occupies a negligible volume, so the bacteriostatic water you add is effectively the final volume.
Can I use normal water or saline instead?
Bacteriostatic water is the standard solvent for multi-entry vials because it contains a preservative. Sterile water and saline have no preservative, so they are single-entry solvents.
