Why there is no cold chain

Research material ships as sealed lyophilized powder, which is stable at ambient temperature for the days a domestic shipment takes. Adding ice packs to a dry vial buys nothing and adds a leak risk, so it is not done.

This is the part people worry about most and it is the part that matters least. What actually goes wrong is a parcel that cannot be handed over.

What the delivery windows really are

Da Nang is the only city with our own courier. Door delivery there usually takes about 30 minutes after the order is confirmed, because the stock is in the same city.

Hoi An is next door and normally lands the next day. Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Vung Tau and Dalat are usually one to two days after confirmation. Phu Quoc is two to three, because it is an island and the flight schedule sets the pace.

These are the windows we quote and the ones on the city pages. They are not a guarantee against a national holiday or a typhoon, and neither is anyone else's.

What an address needs to contain

The single most common cause of a delayed parcel in Vietnam is an address that a courier cannot act on. A street number alone is often not enough in a city where numbering repeats across alleys.

Include the building or hotel name, the ward and district, the alley number where there is one, and a floor or unit. If reception takes parcels, say so, because that turns a failed handover into a successful one.

Include a phone number that will be answered. Couriers here call rather than knock, and an unanswered call is the usual reason a parcel goes back to the depot instead of to you.

For hotels and serviced apartments, give the name exactly as it appears on the building. Guests often give the booking-site name, which sometimes differs from the sign.

What arrives, and how it is packed

Vials travel in protective packing inside a plain outer parcel. There is no branding on the outside, which is a practical choice rather than a discreet one: unmarked parcels attract less handling interest at every stop.

Alcohol swabs and a mixing syringe are included with any order. Bacteriostatic water is included when the order has two or more peptides.

Check the parcel before the courier leaves if you can. A vial with a broken cake or a compromised seal is much easier to resolve at the door than an hour later.

When something goes wrong

Photograph the parcel and the vial before doing anything else, and send both. A photo taken at the door settles almost every question about whether damage happened in transit.

Refused or undeliverable parcels come back to Da Nang rather than disappearing. A wrong address is a delay, not a loss.
