Peptides and SARMs are not the same category.
They turn up in the same shops and the same forum threads, so people treat them as variants of one thing. Chemically and legally they are not related at all.
What each one actually is
A peptide is a short chain of amino acids, the same building blocks proteins are made from. It is a signalling molecule, and it is generally too fragile to survive the gut, which is why research peptides come as lyophilized powder for reconstitution rather than as tablets.
A SARM is a selective androgen receptor modulator: a small synthetic molecule designed to bind androgen receptors with more selectivity than a steroid. Ostarine, ligandrol and RAD-140 are the names that come up most. They are orally active, which is a large part of their appeal.
The confusion is understandable because both are sold as research chemicals to the same audience. The molecules have nothing structurally in common.
Why the evidence bases look different
Several peptides have a genuine clinical record. Semaglutide and tirzepatide are approved drugs with large trial programmes behind them. Others, like BPC-157, have almost entirely preclinical evidence and no meaningful human trial record, and we say so on those product pages.
SARMs sit in a different place. Multiple compounds went into human trials and stopped there. None has been approved for general use anywhere, and several have documented liver and hormonal signals in the trials that did run.
So a peptide catalog spans compounds from approved medicines to preclinical curiosities, and reading each product on its own evidence is the only sensible approach. A SARM catalog does not have that spread.
Regulatory status is not the same either
Most SARMs are on the WADA prohibited list, and several regulators have issued warning letters over marketing them for human consumption. That is a distinct legal posture from a peptide that happens to be an approved medicine.

Why we do not list SARMs
This is a positioning choice, not a moral one. Our catalog is peptides and a small number of related compounds, and the testing and handling story we can tell about them is consistent.
Selling orally active compounds with a documented safety signal alongside research peptides would blur the boundary this site is built on. When someone asks us for a SARM, the honest answer is that we do not carry it.
If you were comparing them for a research question
The practical differences are mechanism, route and stability. Peptides signal through their own receptors and generally need reconstitution and cold storage after that. SARMs act on androgen receptors and are stable as small molecules.
Neither of those facts is a recommendation. They are the reasons the two categories cannot be substituted for each other in a protocol, which is the question people are usually actually asking.
