What is Selank?

A synthetic heptapeptide based on tuftsin, a natural immune-system fragment, with a Pro-Gly-Pro tail added for stability. It was developed in Russia and is registered there only. Listed here as a non-clinical research material.

How is Selank different from Semax?

Both come from the same Russian programme and use the same stabilising tail, but Selank derives from the immune peptide tuftsin while Semax derives from ACTH. Selank research centres on anxiety-related signalling; Semax research centres on BDNF.
